Summary

This project will consider the role and importance of motivational factors for learners/employees in workplace settings. This project is the second of two interrelated projects exploring factors motivating learners towards and through work-based learning. While the first project (a college-based project) will draw on college-based settings, the second project (a workplace project) will focus on workplaces and the role that motivating factors play in facilitating and supporting employees towards further learning as well as skills development and deployment within their working environments. The extent and potential of both formal and informal learning and will be investigated within this project.
