Summary

This work will examine current cross party-policies for the UK Apprenticeship scheme and judges their effectiveness in relation to the most socially excluded. It achieves this through a literature review of the recent research in this area. A summary of the gap between intention and practice will examine how policies may need to be modified to realistically achieve their stated aims.
