SummaryThe RMLP network grew from a Special Interest Group formed by students within the Doctoral School at the Institute of Education (IoE) to provide mutual support to complete qualifications and research in health education. A management committee was convened initially by Professor Andrew Brown; a role subsequently taken up for approximately one year by Dr Eileen Carnell until September 2008. In order to secure the ongoing activities of the network a part-time post was created in the WLE to run on a secondment basis for the following two years. Dr Viv Cook from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry was appointed to the post from September 2008 to July 2010. |
